Fayetteville PRECINCT Courthouse - 1880.
There were 2 other precinct courthouses in Fayette County, in addition to the county courthouse in La Grange. One burned and the other is now a barn. This is the only PRECINCT courthouse remaining in Texas - they were used for county business such as voting - but not for county archives or court. The fact that there were no archives here is probably why it wasn't burned down years ago - most wood courthouses suffered arson at a young age in order to destroy records.
